Remediation Ownership Lab

A six-week cohort that installs shared habits around your cross-department audit remediation tracking app—owners, evidence, wait states, and committee language.

Live sessions + clinics Informational fee: RM 6,400 / person Mesh Cohort option for teams of 10

Learning outcomes

By the end of the lab you will be able to assign dual ownership without duplicating boards, write status notes that distinguish activity from blockage, maintain an evidence trail auditors can sample, and produce a burndown narrative suitable for a Malaysian board pack.

You will not leave with a new software licence—we train the operating model around the tracker you already selected or are selecting.

Modules

Each week pairs a short teach with a clinic on your redacted backlog.

Week 1 — Finding anatomy

Normalise IDs, severity, and residual risk fields so finance and IT describe the same item.

Week 2 — Owner maps

Design process vs system ownership, including shared-service exceptions common in Malaysian groups.

Week 3 — Wait states & escalation

Replace vague “in progress” with vendor, budget, and policy wait codes plus escalation paths.

Week 4 — Evidence desk

Folder taxonomy, attestation notes, and sampling-ready links inside the tracking app.

Week 5 — Committee narrative

Turn exports into a story: aged items, concentration by department, and residual risk.

Week 6 — Cadence handover

Install a 25-minute weekly triage and a 30-day aftercare checklist with alumni office hours.

Reviews from this lab

“Owner maps in week two ended our habit of copying findings into a private Excel for ops. The tracker is finally the only source.”

Strong on escalation etiquette. The lab does not magically shorten vendor lead times—Amira said so upfront—and that honesty helped us set better dates.

FAQ

Do you implement the software for us?

No. We coach configuration choices and operating habits. Your IT or vendor still owns platform administration.

What is a real limitation of this program?

If your organisation refuses to name owners outside Internal Audit, the lab will surface the blockage but cannot override governance. Progress depends on leadership willingness to share the board.

Can we attend from outside Kuala Lumpur?

Yes. Sessions are hybrid. On-site intensives at Mont' Kiara are optional add-ons for Mesh Cohorts.

How do payments work?

This site does not process payments. Invoices and seating are arranged after you contact the studio. See Pricing and Refunds.
